Hillwalkers will be in their element here, but there are often shorter, easy suggestions for the less hardy or they can create their own walks from the detailed maps in the book (which show all waymarked routes). In addition, the car tours lead to dozens of short walks and picnic spots, so that even those with little walking experience can make the most of these wonderful mountains. An excellent guide for planning your hiking trips through the Tatras. I purchased this book to plan our hiking adventures for a two week vacation to Poland and Slovakia. The book is very detailed and includes all needed maps, distances, hiking times, etc. I'd have given 5 stars except the last 15 pages or so were out of order! I assume that was a manufacturing error.
