Joe Nazzaro has done a great job of presenting John's life story, which is quite inspiring, illustrating each phase with samples of John's art and designs, from his teen years to his most recent concept illustrations for Star Trek: Discovery. If you're a follower of Hollywood movie and TV production design, you'll love this book. If you're a Star Trek fan, this book is an absolute must-have. The book itself is big and heavy and beautifully printed, and the reproductions of the concept sketches, diagrams and paintings are exquisite.
