Purchased the Kindle version four days ago and tried to download the lesson files from PeachPit Press. Tried about 7 o 8 times over several days and at different times of the day and every time the download failed after a while. I do not have a slow connection and I have now given up. This eBook is written with the lesson files as essential components. I'm really disappointed. Tried to fill in PeachPit's online feedback form (which doesn't even recognise the Kindle option) and after finally clicking the "Submit" button was asked to fill in yet another form. Have had no response to the first form I submitted.
This book is not intended for a neophyte who has never used Apple software before, which is what I used to be. It is meant to train Apple experts who want to teach Pages, Numbers, and Keynote to others. This was not made clear in the descriptions of the book. The text is hard to understand and provides no basic, simple explanations of this software. I found later that there are other books that are much better in describing Pages, Numbers, and Keynote to new users.
Great for self learning with detailed exercises.It took me somewhat longer to complete since I wrote a summary of each session.

This book is exactly what I was looking for. It is a substantial overview of all three Apple products. Very well written.
OK as a "text book" but almost worthless as a "reference" source. The laminated sheets that Amazon sells for +/- $3.50 are far better for answering "how to" questions.
Well written and covers all the needed stuff.
